KCHuskey's Madden 25 CCM *Coach Mode* experience

Hey gang! I have been lurking around this place for years, but have not posted any sliders for a very long time. Well... It's time to change that. I have been in my cave working on a slider, and setting set, that will make you feel like you are totally immersed in the game, while playing coach mode. I know this isn't for everybody, but I am 40 years old, and I am not as good with the sticks as I was in the good ol' days. I like the strategy aspect of coach mode. Well, really owner mode, because as you'll see, I don't really do much as a coach during the game either. Below I will list exactly how I play, and then the exact settings I use.

My Playing Style (How I play each game )

Nothing special here. As you can see.. I use Gameflow, and I call whatever play it shows. Unless it is a read Option, and I don't feel good about possibly getting my QB hurt, on a meaningless play. In that case I go over, then back, and it has a different play called.

When I am on offense I do not call my play until the cut scene flashes back to the defensive huddle. (This is usually around 25 seconds). Also when I am on defense, I do not push my button to call play until I get the 12 sec warning. I also do not skip past any cut scenes or replays. I've seen a lot of neat stuff, that I would have otherwise missed, not to mention it makes it feel like you are more immersed in the game.

When I am on defense. I do not use any pre snap adjustments, other than playing bump (or tight ). I do not shift, pinch, or anything. On Offense.. I do NOT use any motion or audibles. I call the play, come to the line, then snap the ball.

Anyways... That's it folks. Nothing fancy, and I don't want to be the slider King. I just thought I would throw these out there, since I don't see many. And I have been having a ball with my Chiefs. If ya like em, Great!. If not...Well...I don't care much! I'm pretty sure I got everything, but if I forgot let me know, and I'll add it. Have fun, people!

Hope they give you the kind of experience I've been seeing. And if you find that the sacks are a bit high, then Raise the Roughing the Passer penalty 3 or 5 clicks. If that doesn't help then raise CPU pass block 5.

I've had games that were tough for offense to get anything going, on both sides, and games that they could drive methodically down the field. So it's best to play about 5 games to really get the feel.

These actually don't look too terrible. Other than Freeman throwing for so many yards against a good pass defense. What was the longest completion? Still it is only one game, and anything can happen. I'd play a couple more, and if it is still a bit much, I'd lower the player pass coverage to 10.

This is the only thing I haven't messed with. I never feel good about messing with them, for fear my players will disappear etc.. I have found that with fatigue at 75, my 2nd string HB gets some action, and I'm happy with that.

This game literally made me want to throw up! I'm down 21-3 at halftime and I begin play by play picking the Browns apart in the 3rd, to lose it all in the 4th. I missed 2 field goals in this game and decided against a 4th and 1 on their 1 yard line. So many things came to bite me in the end. I'm ahead late in the 4th and Weeden hits Benjamin with a 59 yard strike over the middle to go up with 47 seconds left in the game! I've got one time out left and I get the ball and I immediately get 3 completions so I'm running out of time. I call a timeout with 12 seconds left on the Browns 42 yard line. Gameflow gives me 4 verticals so I'm thinking I could heave it down and see what happens. If it's incomplete, I'll try a 60 yard field goal! I missed 2 already but who knows. I hike the ball and BAAM...I'm sacked and that's the end of the game! This game was the first that I have felt that actually felt like an NFL game. I'm not going to get all into the stats about were they accurate or not...I really don't get into the stat line anymore unless things are completely misconstrued. This game was AMAZING! Great job with these sliders. Next game is against the Colts...Hopefully, I'll have better Luck!
