Two issues I need help with
I think my games are playing out pretty well, but I have two glaring issues that are drastically impacting the realism of my games. My first issue is my running game. It's unstoppable. I out my RBK slider at 0, but it seems to have no effect. I'm running all over even the best defenses in my franchise and averaging over 5 yards per carry. I really need to tone this down as I'm in the playoffs and it's really making my offense way too effective.
My second issue is my pass defense. I play a lot of zone defense since I don't have particularly good man coverage personnel and I have no real complaints about my zone defense. But when I play man defense, my defenders are trailing receivers by like 5 yards and getting turned around by simple out routes. It's pretty absurd. My guys have decent awareness and man coverage skills, nothing great, but it's just kind of ridiculous the things that I'm seeing them do on defense and it's really frustrating me. I do t expect all of my DBs to play like Darelle Revis, but I'd like to see some more realistic coverage out of them.
Can someone tell me what sliders I can adjust to affect these two areas of my gameplay? I've been reading the posts and some ppl suggest lowering Defensive Pass Interference and raising PDRT and Pass Coverage. Does anyone support this suggestion? Mind you, the CPU man coverage is great. I would like my man coverage to resemble theirs. My sliders are set the same as the CPU, but it seems to have a different effect on my players. I would like to see my players taking less missteps or extra steps in the wrong direction and cover receivers better.
