Seeking slider difficulty opinion

I am currently 7-3 in my 2014 Cleveland Browns franchise after picking up Sammy Watkins and Jimmy Garoppolo in the draft.

Some games have been hard fought while a few have felt more like 'cruise control' type games.

L vs. Seattle 20-37 / SEA 186 Rushing yards
W vs.Baltimore 33-23 / BALT 111 rushing yards
W vs. Indianapolis 31-7 / IND 62 rushing yards
L vs. St. Louis 10-32 / STL 109 rushing yards
W vs. San Francisco 24-7 / SF 84 rushing yards
W vs. Baltimore 20-16 / BALT 48 rushing yards
W vs. Pittsburgh 35-24 / PITT 33 rushing yards
W vs. Miami 34-21 / MIA 35 rushing yards
L vs. Arizona 15-22 / AZ 39 rushing yards
W vs. Cincinnati 21-9 / CIN 16 rushing yards

I feel my offensive difficulty is just about right but defense (sometimes) seems too easy, especially my run defense the past several games. I know Cleveland's D is tough but my run D has allowed the fewest yards with 757 with the second closest team is at 868 yards allowed. My pass defense ranks 12th or so. I am far more offensive minded so I rely on ASK MADDEN for defensive playcalling. I just can't get a grasp on defensive playcalling so I allow my defensive coordinator (ASK MADDEN) handle the playcalling. How do I increase the defensive difficulty without making it entirely impossible? I'd also like the most realistic stats possible, should I increase quarter time and or game speed?

I'm using a variation of Jarodd's red/blue/black All-Madden custom sliders. My defensive sliders are as follows:
HUM-CPU
PASS DEFENSE
Reaction Time: 55-60
Interceptions: 20-35
Pass Coverage: 30-35

RUSH DEFENSE
Tackling:45-50

all penalties left at 50

I've been doing a ton of research and I'm still tweaking and finding the best overall slider set for me. I was just curious is any of you friendly folks had any advice for my above concerns. All advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
