Penalties: Are all maxed out because they don’t call many at all.

Now Int many will say is just the catch rating but no matter what you call it there are not many of them at 5 or 0 I have mine at 4 now and will try going up to 15. Even though 15 may seem high it will cause you and the cpu to choose carefully who to pass to so no winging it down the field.

I am always watching the cpu Rb ability and so 10 seems just fine I will test though because 5 points is really nothing however I would say that to increase the rb ability you will also have to increase the tackle to 5.

Now my blocking sliders in version 1 were P-blk/R-blk = 10 and B-blk = 20 which was a difference of 10 and too easy to run but with P-blk/R-blk = 0 and B-blk = 15 now the difference is 15 in favor of the defense and the line play is so much better. Some of you may even try 20.

I also use updated rosters from www.operation sports.com and in my franchise I control all 32 teams. I changed all the teams coaching philosophies mainly the coaching strategies to reflect the 2003 regular season plays per game for both off and def. I control just the bengals but will make all trades that may happen during the season and I also will take the top 5 players per position from the league every week and they will be the only ones who get to practice.

My franchise is just straight funky.

The final score was Ravens 27 and the Bengals 11 this was on 9 minute quarters so 8 is probably the best but the score is very close to the actual game score.

with your awareness so low do u feel that the db's react at a more realistic rate.also do the ratings really mater with those settings. i'll try them out and see how they play. by the way i use the colts and their no huddle.

Boller may NEVER throw for 277 though. How do these feel. Do they feel like real football and real ratings. I couldn't understand if you play coach mode or if you watch or if you play the games.

Awareness: it seems better lower because when it is to high the defence is never fooled. playactions are non-existent and the running game is just garbage. with these numbers I am able to fool the comp with play action, short passes and draw plays.

ratings: do matter now before I had a problem seeing the difference between great players and the bad ones. I put my first team up against the colts second team and destroyed them but when the colts first team was in I got raped.

I play my games but sometimes I like to just watch some of the other games. So far the games have been challenging and I have noticed the difference in players aggressiveness when subs are brought into the game.

I did make a change to ver 2 because after all the ranting I made there is a boost for the comp in the defensive sliders and just the blocking sliders here they are.

Human: P/R-blk=5 , int=8, Knock dwn=20, B-blk=20, tackle=5
Comp: awareness=0, int=3
