Look at a real muscular guy and he has lines which is called definition including having shadowing (or shading) underneath and around the muscle, just like in that picture. The muscles look realistic to me. My only real complaint about Maddens muscles is that less players in the game should be muscular. In the real NFL you don't see as many muscular builds as you do in the Madden game.

I have never seen a muscular guy have track lines on his arms. There are veins but not just lines.

Well the lines are the definition, the veins are there too but they're not straight as you seem to be seeing. Everyones entitled to their opinion but I've never heard anyone except you lodge this specific complaint at Madden artwork, most of what I hear is what I said, that the problem in regards to the muscular issue is that too many of the players that aren't muscular in real life are beefed up in the game.

Yeah, and? ESPN doesn't do that, and it doesn't look as good in this aspect:

You must not have played espn since you can clearly see muscle definition while playing it. In fact, people complained that there was too much definition on the players.
