Can anyone tell me how to add a custom team to a franchise in Nadden 2004 for the PC?

What the Hell is so good about EA sports then? Damn! How hard was that to put in? I know 2005 doesn't have it but I went out and bought a 2004 because I heard you could...plus I found a download for NCAA teams and rosters to play on my PC. EA sports needs more competition on the PC and unfortunately I don't see it happening.
