EA Dumps John Madden.

I think that Madden's name will be on the game for at least one more year (06) then they'd call it whatever they want. I wouldn't call the game MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL because all past iterations of that name have failed in every videogame console.

Why don't they just call it EA PRESENTS NFL 2000 whatever.

First off, i'm the new guy here, so hello everyone.

Secondly, why anybody would want the ESPN Sunday Night Football crew anywhere near a video game? Between Paul McGuire saying "WATCH THIS!!" every 10 seconds, Joe Theismann and his "I spoke to offensive coordinator Blank McBlankenstein yesterday," Suzy Kolber and her canned sideline reports that everybody read in the morning paper while she ignores in-game injury updates, and Mike Patrick saying everything is spectacular; please spare me of that.

I don't need overblown schtick in a video game commentary, just some background comments that aren't overly-repetitive or obvious.
