EA did something for the fans I think on this one. Maybe instead of worrying that EA will not care about what they put out because they are the only football game for years to come just celebrate the fact that EA listened to some of the fans for once and did something about it.

That's denial.

EA did not do this for their "fans." They did this to ensure their product would remain #1 and destroy any type of competition possible.

No but they could (and probably will IMO) call it ESPN NFL Football featuring John Madden. Then next year they can just drop the Madden or change the guy who is featured.

who said that? Also this is just so that ea can make more money, not for the fans. If they truley cared about the fans they would price the game a bit lower like maybe $40 and be more innovative
