Re: Madden 2006 Coverboy??

that wouldn't be a bad idea except for the fact there are states like NM or Idaho who are caught in between fan bases. We have Raider, Denver, Cowboy fans here so they might fight over what area gets what just for "more sales".

I say keep it easy, one guy.

yeah that crossed my mind i would say maybe use some famous player who played college ball in that area and or has some other attachment to that area

what ever nfl team happens to draw the best from there

again just an idea

Yeah right, Moss is only popular in Fantasy football. Heck alot of Vikings fans I know don't even like the guy at all despite his incredible athleticism. Besides Moss represents everything that is not only wrong with pro football, or pro athletes in general, arrogant, egotistical, brain-dead, slacker know it all with talents that sometimes make up for it on the field, but he also represents what was once wrong (and some say still wrong) with Madden the videogame ie just lob up the ball deep and the WR will catch it, so that'd literally never happen..

Big Ben isn't a bad choice(maybe I'm biased though). I mean, he's very marketable and is the "next big thing."
You're right, you are being biased. I'd venture a guess that just as many people "outside of football fans" that know who Big Ben is know who Julius Peppers is. Sorry, but he didn't go to a big college, he isn't going to the Super Bowl, and he's only been in the league one year. Give it time, he'll develop more notoriety as the years go on.

As for the Madden 2006 coverboy, here's an idea. Everyone's biggest complaint about 2005 was the lack of the CPU running game, right? I could see EA putting special emphasis on improving the running game for both the CPU and the Human.

In doing this, naturally, you'd have to put a dominant HB on the cover. Possibilities could include Clinton Portis, Ladanian Tomlinson, Corey Dillon, Edgerin James, Willis McGahee, and Curtis Martin.

What do you think?

Re: Madden 2006 Coverboy??

Since the biggest change to Madden in 2006 should be implementation of the ESPN licensing the cover should be John Madden and Chris Berman shaking hands.

If McNabb wins, possibly him. But I honstly can't see that happening, though people favored the Rams when they beat them. It's either going to be Manning,Brady(probable choice) or McNabb. My dark Horse could be either T.O or Cory Dillon.
