What new gimmick will EA hype up for Madden 06 (I'm not trolling. Honest question)

Here’s my point - the Madden forum has become the “lets speculate how bad Madden is going to suk this year” forum. Hey, I’ll pile-on too, provided I see the game, play it, and know myself that it stinks (or not.)

(And to think I got warned at MM for encouraging some people over there to at least try ESPN NFL 2K5 back in July of 2004 in the Madden forum.)

And over here Bkrich insinuates I'm a Madden fanboy.

Its like your are protecting your new born child..... Madden wasnt perfect but was all bad but if you want everyone to sit in a circle and hold hands as we all sing the praises of Madden get over yourself. You are making this a personal war and it isnt. People who have low expectations for Madden have a right to have them.

And the fact that there is one choice is even more dishearting.

I never said it will stink but I hope its not last years game with tweaks if it is then it stinks for consumers.

Really? Or is it just that I'm hopeful that our one possible NFL game ends up being quality. Its what we are left with- love it or hate it. May as well hope for the best, then if it does reek, then it gets slammed.

Its that whole cup half-empty/half-full thing.

Lets see it first. As of this minute, nobody is any kind of authority on Madden 2006 for any system. It may very well stink, no question- but until I know it does, whats the point of all this unending griping about the failures of a game that has yet to be released (yet its failure is assumed) ???

You don't see me saying "ITS GONNA ROCK!" I'm just anxious for ANY info on it. I really have no bias. (Although you don't see it that way.)

I also hope VC makes a football game of some type. I've bought every version since 2K on DreamCast.
