though the cone of vision seems to be getting mixed reactions, I like the feature bceause it simulates the ability to read the QB's eyes on defense.

HOWEVER, I sure as hell hope EA fixed the ability to Intercept the ball this year. I can't tell you how frustrated I was last year when Over and Over again I would jump the route only to have the ball bounce right off the DB's hand and of course within the next few plays I would give up a score instead of getting the turnover.

on the flip side, will Defenders have a field of vision or will we still see Miraculous 10 yard leaps by LBs to swat the ball?

with the cone of vision this will allow ea to make qb's less accurate, thereby making it so that when they are accurate they can up the ints as well as the catch ratio. so this solves several problems, including the one you mention, all at once..

How does it fix the problem of dbs dropping balls?

i just hope the pass interference is fixed. i got my fair ints but no penaltys

One article did mention that if your receiver is in the cone, you can push up on the joystick to throw the ball high for fades and crossing routes behind linebackers (down on the stick for low passes on curls, etc) to help improve receptions. This should help with the DB swat and reduce the leaping LBs.

As for making the DBs catch better, that should be a simple fix really but we'll have to wait and see.
