My guestimation on the next-gen Madden release and Xbox 360

I think that the release of both of these items will be the day after thanksgiving or also know as "green friday!" They are gonna make us battle through long lines of people to get onurhands on them. This is the day when "new" stuff usually comes out for christmas shoppers. Anyone else agree?

It's actually known as black friday but I guess it's been modified to be more politically correct. Nobody puts out anything new on black friday, it's when there's a period where you can get things discounted.

They will not release a new system on green(black) Friday. The stores are already jampacked and Microsoft wants this to be the only player when it releases. It will sell and sell well so no need to risk alienating both retail stores and customers, who many of us gamers hate going to stores on said Friday. Late October to early Nov works much like it did for GTA: SA and Halo 2

actually green friday or black as you say, is when tons of new things are released. i used to work at best buy and there were hundreds of different things being released from appliances to games, etc. that is the way it has always been in the omaha area, but maybe different from your area.
