So, is the Madden next gen game going to be released this year with the Xbox 360? If so, I think they will be shooting themselves in the foot, because no one will want to buy an inferior version. What do you think?

Yes. There will be Madden on Xbox and a next-gen one on Xbox 360.

I think it's going to be a 50/50 type of deal. The reason I say that is because with all the work alot of folk's are doing to update rosters,is it warranted spending 50.00 on a game for "basically" a new feature or two,with their rosters updated?
On the other hand, it's still Madden 06,and the "newness" of the new Madden will definately(sp) appeal to the masses,and besides I'm sure there wont be alot of the younger folks picking up the 360,especially when alot of these parents just picked their kids up an xbox this past Christmas.
I really think that both will sell just fine. With the 360 releasing in Nov? it's going to be tight anyway, due to the Christmas shopping season. But I'm sure that's what they're counting on. Christmas shopping + 360 + Madden 06 = Momma

Ill actually probably end up buying both. I cant wait till Nov to buy Madden unless NCAA is just that damn good even still ill probably end up buying on both xbox and xbox 360

Its gonna be tough.

Suppsoedly PS3 is gonna blow 360 away, so I want to wait for that, but its gonna be hard to not buy next gen madden.

Anyways, I was pretty sure the next-gen Madden was comming to the Xbox 360. Hopefully we can get some actual footage of the next-gen Madden running on actual hardware on May 12th or during E3.

Im not so sure anymore. Word has it that many developers are jumping ship after having seen PS3.
