In the graphics department...yes. The gameplay was horrible. Even if the gameplay is considered better than the PS1 version, it's hardly "heads and shoulders" better.

If it's next gen then they have MORE power and they can keep everything and add Nike commerical graf. umm is this highly possible, I think EA should do this.

As long as they keep franchise mode and make it at least as playable as it is now, I'll be happy.

I don't see why they even need to start some features from scratch, surely they could just port stuff like the franchise mode over....it's not like anything next gen offers can really improve it unlike gameplay/graphics.

I thought it was awesome. I watched to vids for months in disbelief just waiting for launch. I guess some people will just never be happy.

make up your mind.....you said the gameplay was horrible..but in the next sentence said "if it was better than the ps1 version,its hardly "heads and shoulders" better.......better is better......

Graphics wise the first ps2 version was better, but gameplay wise madden 2001 on the psx was better.
