Problems with game freezing??

I just updated my rosters to as of now and when I try to start my franchise, the game freezes. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there were any solutions.

Hmm, that sucks. I'm not having any problems with my Xbox. What system are you using?

You're not going to like this. I remember last year when I downloaded a post draft roster I couldn't start a franchise with it. It turned out that franchise mode would crash at start-up if there were more than 23 or 24 created players in the roster. I found out by deleting created players until I could start a franchise without freezing. That was on 2004 but your problem with 2005 sounds a lot like this. Sorry!

There are no created players with my rosters. I downloaded EA latest update and then went to NFL.com for all the up to date roster moves and did them myself. The only way I have been able to start a franchise is with a created team. THIS SUCKS SO MUCH!!! I want to play with a regular team and it won't let me!! There has to be something that can be done.
