What about the graphics?

Yeah, sure I've seen the videos but you and I both know better to judge graphics by a video. I'm aware that the next generartion is about to be released but I would still like to see some improvement. I figure that isn't asking much from the ***ONLY*** football franchise remaining. Yeah but with the new consoles coming out, did anyone really expect a complete overhaul? The game is tight already, with just a tweak or two, it will be perfect. The real change will come on next years version.

Graphics look good already for 2005. I'm more concerned about gameplay and franchise improvements. I think a good majority of people feel the same way..

I don't understand how graphics are more important than gameplay? If the gameplay sucks, what are you going to do, sit and stare at the game while it's on pause or something?

1) Gameplay
2) AI/decision making
3) Franchise mode
4) Animations(not graphics, just more variety_
5) Graphics

I know..even though that statement of yours is wrong to some people..i myself sometimes feel if Madden's graphics and atmosphere was much more improved..i'd probally dig it a hella lot more then i do now....even though gameplay is probally more important.

To me though..i think graphics AND gameplay are the "key" ingrediants to a fun football game and alot of people would probally agree. Also atmosphere is another thing missing with Madden.

Animations have a lot to do with gameplay... so much that I'd group them together. The variety of animations and having the right ones for the situation are a large part of what makes the game look and feel realistic.

I think they should have at least brought the graphics to an Ncaa 06 level. Ncaa 06 seems like its gonna be really good this year and i hope it doesn't spoil madden for me because of minimal changes by madden.

Very true, and I probably could have expanded on the franchise list too, but these are just overall.
