You forgot Yehovah, Yaweh, Yah...You get the picture. I just hope they're using his name for name only. I don't know how ESPN will feel about having an announcer from another network not in the Disney family announcing a game represented by ESPN. Any thoughts?

I'm sure as long as the check doesn't bounce ESPN won't care one bit about an outside guy announcing in the game.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

not that that matters anyway (but FF is right of course). these are videogames, folks. when you sign to announce for MNF or anything else in real life, you don't sign over your soul.

Re: Madden signs new multi-year deal with EA

yeah i dont get this. madden will be doing games starting next year for nbc, which is ea's first year that they will be using espn's name logo presentation etc. doesnt make sense that ea claims espn will be integrated within their products beyong anyones believe, yet their main spokesman and face of the game will be doing commentary on a completely different station. hopefully he will be used now just as a spokesman, maybe commentating only in tutorials and "ask madden" plays, while ea starts using commentary from espn's sunday night crew.
