Create a Team

Does anyone else use this feature? If so, how? And what have you heard about the option for this year?

For me, I always make an expansion team. Detroit or Arizona get sent packing and then I pick all my guys (2 per team max) from evryone's third stringers. Plus I make 7 rookies with one of the guys rated about 80 (hey, expansion teams should get the #1 pick). It is always fun for me because I get a look at a lot of guys and have to work my way up.

So, what are your stories?

I like using this feature as well. I'll usually play with one of my favorite teams (Browns or Vikings) for a few years. Then I'll take over a team who has been doing consistently poorly and move them. I try to move them to a major city in the area that does not have a team. I enjoy starting a team from scratch and developing a history with 'em.

Last year I actually replaced all 32 teams with created teams & fictional players. That way you never knew what you were up against with each team. I just wish the uniform editor wasn't so limited. It's really annoying IMO that you can't even duplicate a uniform as simple as the Cowboys because the stripes are hard coded to certain other colors on the uniform.
