Uhhhh . . . IGN can't be trusted to provide reliable reviews of EA products. They have given some of the worst sports games of all times 8.0+ ratings. Madden is a lock for a very high rating, no matter if it is as mediocre as the past 2 offerings (which both got serious props from IGN).

IGN knows what advertiser butters its bread, that's for sure.

I actually have a feeling that the IGN review will place around an 8.5. I'm more interested in what the reviewer has to say then the score even though IGN usually is lackluster in their review department.

Who is credible? I have not ever once heard a review that really tells it like it is. Never! NCAA recently got a 9.something and it was suppose to be one of the best NCAA games made. However, QB stats are out of this world...I didn't see anything about that in any of the reviews. If that gets a 9.something then I gotta say I would hate to see a 8.something. I never take a review for anything, the only reviewer I trust is myself.
