I have a copy now and in case anyone was wondering about the running back physics, it seems pretty similiar to last year. It doesn't really feel like NCAA 06 as far as the agility and cutting goes. The run blocking does seem to be improved though. However, I was hoping for a little more shiftiness out of the backs ala NCAA 06.

They haven't added the transitional (ie cutback, quick change of direction..etc) animations that NCAA has. Thats too bad.

Yeah, I can see someone liking the running game but it's not really my cup of tea. I prefer a more NCAA 06 feel as far as agility goes.

Yeah, I stated in the Impressions thread how NCAA's running game is more superior than Maddens. After playing NCAA for the past month, running in the new Madden feels very clumsy and awkward. It would make too much sense for EA to implement similar controls for the two games as well, so you don't have to go through the process of learning a whole new control scheme. On the other hand, passing is much easier, even with the precision cone.
