That's true. I've been playing 2K so I needed a couple hours of practice mode to get my legs back under me. I chose a play with the Chargers that sent Gates on a corner route...and he abused the defense at least 90% of the time whenever he was single covered and was able to lead him high. I ran that play about 50 times to practice the new passing mechanics and he scored on it a ton of times . Can't complain though, because it was default difficulty, and perhaps it gets tougher to complete those on higher levels, and Gates
should be a tough matchup for a DB 1-on-1. However, its a little troubling that the high throw results in a jump-catch that is very tough to stop.
That said, when there was safety help, they almost always had great inside/outside coverage, and he rarely caught the ball, which I loved. No more catching the pill in triple-cover.
