how you do SLIDE PROTECTION"?

what does it do?

i cannot get it to work? Supposed to be the white button on xbox..the d-pad...they never move? Maybe it's because i use the phins!!

It's for rollouts, I believe.

On PS2... its L1 plus a direction on the directional pad.

Your O-line isn't suppose to move, that would be a false start

What it does is tells your blockers, once the play starts, which way to conentrate their blocking. So, if you call a pass play, and the defense overloads the left side, then you push White then left on the D-Pad to tell the O-line to cover the left side. You can also push Up for pinched blocking (towards the middle), or down to have your blockers funnel guys to the outside. Very good feature against online cheesers, as well.

I believe down is to pick up an outside blitz and leaves the middle open

I think this is a great feature. Many times the center/oline/qb make this call but how effective is this new feature. I hope they build on it.
