i have the xbox, and dont see it in the manual how to do it?

Check out the defensive tutorial in the game. If I remember correctly, you press Y (coverage audible), then you press the button of the receiver you are trying to shade, and then you press L trigger to shade left and R trigger to shade right.

sorry to be ignorant, but what does, "shade" mean. My guess is that it means you can either shade them out or in, in which case you'd play them to the inside or outside of their body in relation to the quarterback, taking away the slant or the out?
