Holy crap, are they ugly. They were fairly well done in NCAA - what happened?

What? You say it has nothing to do with gameplay? Screw you, I can't get those creepy undead faces out of my head now, they are going to haunt my dreams tonight.

Other than that, all the non-gameplay aspects (draft, free agency, CPU managent "AI") seem EXACTLY the same as in 2005, except for the NFL FILMS MUSIC, which alone made renting this game worth it. I don't want to sound like I'm hating on the game or anything, they've gotten more out of both this game engine and the crappy crappy PS2 than I would've thought they could, I've just come to the sad realization that I'm bored of video game football. Maybe Blitz Playmakers and Ron Mexico can help cure that. Thus ends this lurker's crappy review of Madden '06.
