Would this trade be realistic?

Jacksonville gets:

Bryan Randall, QB

I'd be Jacksonville.

While Garrard is a little more seasones, both are backups so not really an unfair trade. As long as the trade values are close in equality then you should do it if you really want your Hokie QB on the team

Well, I've never really been able to play well with Garrard and knowing that I can play with Randall a little bit helps, but I figure the trade might happen cause they're both similar players.

In real life I think Garrard would command more trade value then Randall.

sounds alot more realistic than most trades proposed on here.
Usually its something like, I get Terrell Owens, McNaab and Westbrook and they get a #1 draft pick, #3 draft pick and James Thrash.

if we're speaking on real life terms here, then hello no that wouldnt be a fair or realistic trade. Garrard is one of the most sought after backup QBs, very good and capable of starting for alot of teams, while Bryan Randall probably wont even make an NFL roster, unless he switches positions to WR or Safety
