I just played a pre season game between the Cowboys and the Cardinals. The cowboys hit a FG on the last play to tie the game 27 - 27. But, instead of going into overtime, the game just ended. Is there no overtime in preseason??

No I don't believe there is, I've seen a tie here or there before.

Funny you ask this...because Thursday night football, the packers and someone, they hinted that neither team wanted to see it goto overtime because it would risk their players getting injured. I was scratching my head thinking, I didn't think tie games went to overtime in preseason.

Yes there is OT in preseason, although think if both coaches agree, they can quit.

There is OT in preseason games. I was at the Rams v. Bears game last preseason and it went into OT.

Never knew about the coaches agreement thing though.

well, in my Boys franchise, my record is 0-0-2 because of the no OT.

Ok, sometimes I get to thinking whatever it is in madden is the way it is in the NFL...I should know better than that.

The Titans Buc game Friday night went to Overtime and the Bucs won on a field goal.
