Is it just me or does the cpu try to air it out 60 yards+ about every third play? seriously, I played three games last night and half of the cpu pass plays were bombs. It's making this game boring and pretty much unplayable for me. What happened to the short passing game? Is there any way to fix this with sliders?

I've never had that problem, I don't think anyone has. Unless you're playing on Pro or something...???

Have not seen this either. Playing on default "All-Pro". I have had QBs slice and dice my secondary to bits with short/med passes. Will occasionly get caught in the wrong defense and have someone like Manning audible and go long and catch me with my pants down...

Also have had teams with the good running backs just pound the ball down the field until I stopped the ground assault. I'm a seeing a good mix of plays from the CPU.

Maybe it's with my play calling? I'm playing on all-pro at the moment, not sure what it is that I'm doing but it's definitely driving me crazy. I started playing a cover 3 and some other deep zones so they haven't been completing them but the cpu qb still keeps trying. Thanks for replying guys.

No problems here either. I've been playing on default All-Pro and the CPU playcalling has been great. Nice variety.

I'm curious, have they been sticking to this playcalling tendency when behind early in the game? I'm going to play a few more games tonight and see what happens, maybe mess with the sliders.

What types of plays are you guys calling on defence? What formations?

Who are you playing? Maybe the QB and the coach on the other team is known for their air-it-out offense.

Ya i dont have this problem. As someone said it could be a team that has a tendency to air it out. What pisses me off though is they always catch theirs and i always miss mine 9/10 i will not be able to catch the long ball and it will be batted away whats the deal how do i stop this and how do i catch them?
