how do you Sell your defense to run/pass?

i know in Madden 2004 after the snap you can tell your defense to except the run or pass.


and i hear its back in 2006

but how you do it on the xbox?

why is it not cover in the manual?

Immediately after the snap. If you start holding L-trigger before the snap though you get more time after the snap to tell your D that it's a run or pass.

Hold the L2 Button and hit the R3 Stick up for pass, down for run


Do this once the ball is snapped and you've read the keys do determine run or pass. If you wait too long the player that you're controlling when you do decide to use this feature will wind up for a hit stick tackle.

i guess it can be dangerous if you guess wrong especially on a play action.

so be careful.
