When i got the game i went over my friends house and was showing them the new passing stuff. one of my friends is like that's not new it was on last year game. so we get into argument about it im like it is new or they would not be marketing there new passing system so much. So we put $100 dollars up on the bet. He put in his madden 2005 and i went to practice mode and tried the precision passing and DAMN he was right. I tried it in 2 min drill and in the game and the same buttons you use to thow the ball high,behind, in front, and at his feet was doing the same in madden 2005. I am very mad about this first the money i lost and the fact i spent $20 dollars on 06 when its madden 2005 with new men's and rosters. I should have just tweaked my rosters a bit.

Yep, I don't see why there was so much made of precision passing. You've always been able to lead the receiver right/left/high/low by pressing the analog stick as you throw. The only difference is that now an graphic flashes on the screen showing that you just used precision passing.

I like the vision cone though, at least that is new.

Precision passing isn't new, but basically re-designed.

Plus, they added the vision cone.

Yes, but if you want to turn off the passing cone, you have to turn off precision passing with it. I'm not a huge fan of the cone, but really like precision passing, you should be able to have one without the other.

Lead in Madden 2005 is not the same as precesion.

on Madden 2005 if you go up it will throw the pass forward not high.

in Madden 2006 if you go up it will throw it high.

I think technically HE owes YOU 100 dollars. Madden 2005 had lead passing, but you couldn't exactly choose to throw it high or low. Though similar, the system this year is still different...

And don't forget the brilliance that is the passing cone. precision passing is nice, but not EXACTLY (although technically) new...the cone is pure brilliance and is the best thing in a football game since they invented the forward pass.
