This is exactlyl why people don't want this happening in the NHL. 2K is on the right track and EA would ruin it.

Dont know what your talking about but Madden is everything I had imagined it would be, I aint dissapointed cause my hopes were never up, I wont be getting the 360 version of Madden this year at all.

True but it's not like there are practice squads on the PS2 version. Or PC version for that matter. The features added to the PSP Madden 06 piss me off.

All of the current information points to Spring 2006, so I have no clue where you pulled that from. Besides, Sony would be screwing themselves over if they delayed the PS3 to 2007, because they would be letting X-Box dominate the market for about a year with their next-gen console out first. I'll believe it when I see it.

If they do delay it, I'll buy an X-Box 360 then, not now. Like I said, patience. I doubt the X-Box 360 initial Madden release will improve anything other than graphics anyway, do you think EA is going to improve the gameplay and features when they can just point to shiny new graphics and sell a new version with less work?

Says who? Why has this statement been treated as if it was a unquestionable statement of fact? Seems to me the vast majority of negative posts about the game on this board are from are dyed-in-the-wool, hardcore 2k fans who were determined to not like Madden anyway.

actually Madden 2005, was a pretty damn good game in the series. It was a step forward.
