"Trade Me"

Has anyone had this problem in franchise? I had a poor first season as the Giants and during the off-season both Shockey and Plaxico demanded trades. I couldn't do anything to change their minds. I even gave Shockey a new contract and he wouldn't change his mind. I ended up trading him and some picks to San Diego for Gates.

I didn't even know players could demand trades.

I know in last years Madden Marty Booker ended up being my 4th string wide receiver and demanded a trade in the offseason due to his unhappiness. I also had a QB, I forget who rating in the 80's, demand a trade in the offseason when he got stuck behind a rookie QB for the year. Hope that helps a little.

Madden's owner mode is what carries this game. I'm a franchise mode junkie so when I see this stuff, I can get past mediocre gameplay.

I agree 90% maddens Franchise mode is the best of any on/off the field sports game

Why u complain'n Gates is better...
I sign'd Gates as a FA to my PHI franchise is sick in the slot.

& even if some1 demands a trade does it effect his performance???
I never notice's T.O. performance drop even tho his morale was low as shyt.
He damand'd a trade 2 but I kept him cuz I got a good Rookie WR in Ted Ginn.
I could trade him 4 Johnson HOU. Or package him with a draft pick & get Edwards & Winslow CLE. for a lower draft pick.
But since I have Gates & Smith theres no need for Winslow...
Even tho Winslow is sick in this game 2.
