how do you catch the damn ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously people how do you catch in madden this year.

it seems to me that i can't catch jack in this game.

i'm dropping at least 9 to 10 balls a game.

i have my receiver in stride plenty times and he stills finds a way to drop the damn ball.

i'm pressing the catch button and it seems to make the cathcing in this game more difficult can you guys help me out.

it's pissing me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm only seeing 4 or 5 drops a game. My problem lies with the dropped int's.

Three suggestions:

1) Let the cpu catch it for you
2) Don't bullet the ball unless it is a long distance pass.
3) Make sure you are set when you throw the ball, any movement whatsoever will make the pass either off target or the reciever will drop it for some reason.

Those 3 things help me alot. Last night I was 9-15 with Jake Plummer and then I used the Chiefs and Green was 11-14.

Same here ! My DB's drop balls that are hitting them right in the numbers. It really aggravates me. I know they shoudn't grab everyone but man they aren't getting any of them. Maybe I need to turn up the int slider ?

i've had the same problem. I've had sam madison and travis daniels drop like 4 picks each through 3 pre-season games among others.

I maybe see one or two dropped balls per game tops. I let the cpu do all the catching though, maybe that has something to do with that. I haven't changed any sliders or settings since I got the game, except I bumped the difficulty to all-pro.
