Re: Roethlisberger Gets no Respect from Madden 2006

I'm a Steelers fan and I have no problem with his rating in this game. I actually think it's pretty good.

Yes his awareness is on the low side, but it should be. He's only played 15 or so games in his entire career. His accuracy is rated better than I thought it should be.

I look at it this way - it gives him room to grow in the game and will make it fun to watch how much he grows in my Steelers franchise.

Yeah, I have no problem with his ranking either. I do have to question some other rankings though.

Michael Vick - 92 OVR. Just proof that Madden is still more about speed than anything else. He has a 78 vision, which is about right, but no way should be be a 92 overall.

Carson Palmer is better than his rankings

Jake Plummer has a higher vision ranking than Roethisberger? That I have a problem with.

And just a comment: if those ratings are in any way true to life, it's going to be a looong season in Buffalo.

Wow, I thought they did good job on Bens rating, seems very realistic for a second year player to have an 80 awareness. 88 overall is not bad at all -- it puts him right as a just above average passer, which he is. And they expect the cover for him? What a stupid article

In 14 games,

196-295, 2621 yds, 17 TD, 11 INT

The TD-INT ratio seems to warrant the average awareness

Yeah, hes the second stringer. Personally I dont like him and really like Rod Rutherford, a scrambling QB out of Pittsburgh that will most likely be practice squad, so I shipped out Weinke on the game for a draft pick.
