Explain this to me (not a complaint)

In my mind it would be stupid for the computer not to go for 2. Hitting an extra-point would be pointless because being up by 5 instead of 4 doesn't really mean anything with only a minute left. By being up six they atlesast force you to make the extra-point if you get a TD.

That is your explanation right there.
Like he said, it makes no difference to be up by four or five with only one minute remaining, so the PAT means nothing. But getting the 2-pointer forces you to make a PAT to win if you score a TD. It's absolutely the right AI logic.
