Precision Passing Question

Im a litte confused about precision passing. In the tutorial, they explain how to throw behind, ahead, above, or below the reciever. However, the example they give is of a reciever running left to right. My question is, is the the same if my reciever is running a streak ahead, or a crossing route from right to left. In other words, if I want to throw the ball ahead of my reciever on a streak, do i still push right on the dpad? Or Up?

Thanks in Advance

Re: Precision Passing Question

I believe pressing up will throw the ball higher in the air, so if the reciever is running a cross pattern from left to right, to throw the ball in front of him, you would press it to the right.
