Why doe they show replays ON THE PLAYS screen? (+ another question)

Ok, how about the fact that the play clock runs while watching a replay? It would be nice to watch a whole replay of a nice play, instead of skipping it so you can get to the huddle before the clock runs out.

I can't stand Madden's replays in the first place. They are always from some weird angles, that you would never actually see in an NFL broadcast. They should use replay angles that mimic what you might actually see on tv.

And I know what you are saying about the play calling screen blocking the replays.

I am guessing ya got madden for xbox, i got it for PS2 and the new one doesn't look as great as the only other madden i played. the coaches look horrible and the players while good dont look as smooth as the other madden game i played.

madden 2001!, 2006 doesnt look better the this TO ME.

To answer the question: Why do they have the replays inside the play calling screen? Simple, because during testing a couple years back they noticed that all of the gamers always skipped over the in game replays to get to the playcalling screen so no one was viewing any of the replays.

As for your bemoaning "Why do I have to use part of my play calling clock to view a replay?" uuhhhh......pause the game and use the Instant Replay feature???? Jeesh..
