Average number of plays on drives?

What is the average number of plays are scoring drives? Recently my drives have had anywhere from 8-16 plays. Isn't 16 a little much?

Not really. Just go to ESPN.com, and read the play-by-play of some of the games from last Sunday. 16 plays is not too much at all.

I've had 3 and out's and all the way up to 21 play drives. I got the ball on my own 1, and had a 21 play, 11 minute drive. Is it common, no, but it has happened. While I was doing it, I was remarking to myself how incredible my drive was. I think I converted five 3rd downs on that drive.

I think that sounds perfect to me.

But I don't know what the actual avg. is. My guess would be anything over 15 plays would be considered ball control. But all in all, it sounds accurate to real football.

With my sliders, it ranges between 8 and 13, but there are some 3 and outs, the only dilemna I am having is the running game and the deep bomb passes they always complete
