NaturalMotion Advances Animation not being used for Madden 06

There is an interesting article about NaturalMotion Advances Animation on ign. It talks about how next gen games won't really need the use of motion capture. Everything can be calculated mathematically instead.

Interesting quote from the article "Just to clarify, this technology isn't, as far as we know, being used in the next Madden game. We inquired at EA just to make sure, and they claimed they'd never heard of NaturalMotion."

Looks like we are stuck with old technology of motion captured animations. Heopfully they will be smooth! Unlike the BK trailor I have just seen.
