Why EA aggravates me sometimes

- I started a franchise with me controlling all 32 teams. So I went into the coaching settings and changed the Dolphins base defense from the 4-3 to the 3-4. Then i went into Miami's substitutions to put Jason Taylor as an OLB in the 3-4 and the 3-4 defense was not present in their defensive substitutions. Not only that, but wheN i played the Dolphins in week 2 they werent even playing the 3-4. They played the 4-3 all game. I mean come on EA.

- The RB slider in the coaching setting is useless. I put the Chiefs RB setting to where they would use Priest Holmes 70% of the time and Larry Johnson 30%. TheN i PLAYED (not simmed) the chiefs in week 1 and Holmes got 26 carries and Johnson only got 2 in garbage time.

- And you should be able to turn off this player progression stuff especially if you want to control all 32 teams like I am doing. I worked my butt off to fix ever team's depth chart as accurately as possible, then after the pre-season I noticed that some players leap frogged others into the starting lineup. I should be the only one who should make these changes. This progression stuff should have the ability to be shut off.

- The penalty sliders are ajoke. I have them all maxed out and the only penalty that gets called is the facemask penalty. I get about 10 of those a game.

I can tolerate gameplay glitches, that will never be perfect. But these are basic things that shouldnt be happening.

That's been in EA games forever -- play it their way or hit the highway... even though 'you're in charge'.

when you try to move a DE from NCAA to LB you can only move him to MLB this year no OLB so that screws up alot of DE's to small to play DE in the NFL.

All I am pointing out is that sometimes "their way" doesnt make sense. If you have no problem with that then that speaks volumes about yourself.I mean, if I change a teams base defense to 3-4 is it too hard for them to make sure the AI plays the 3-4? Why have the option then?

Play it their way or hit the highway... what's not to understand? No, I don't like that. It sucks. But that's life when it comes to EA games.

no your facts before complaining to the world.When you switch a teams base def in the coaching setting, its changing it for simmed games. You have to change there def to balance D(which they use)or 3-4 def when you play them at the selecting screen.
