Icon6 Running Back Ducking Under Would Be Tackler

I saw one of the most unbelievable plays during a game yesterday. I was on D when Tiki Barber broke through the line and into the secordary. When I tried to tackle him with one of my safeties he ducked underneath my leaping safety to avoid being tackled.

My safety left his feet in an attempt to use his shoulder to knockdown Tiki and Tiki just ducked down almost onto his knees as I flew over him and onto the ground.

I was so amazed at the play that I didn't bother trying to catch him after that missed tackle by myself. I let one of the CPU controlled players catch him about 5 yards past where I hit the ground.

I think the "Hit Stick" can also be called the, "If You Miss Me, I'm Gone".

Thats always been the case. If your not spot on with the hit stick your not even going to touch the player your trying to make contact with.

I've seen this same animation maybe 3 or 4 times in 50 or 60 games. VERY COOL!!! One of them I'll never forget, as the running back followed that move up with a spin to the right, a back juke and side step juke on his way to a 35 yard TD scamper. I had to save that play for posterity although it cost me the game.

I have a replay of Jamal Lewis doing that but I have no idea where to have it hosted.

YOu can get some crazy animations if you lower the tackle slider.
