PSP Controls all info welcomed

For those playing the game, we all know that the manual and in game options lack a lot of the controls information i.e. Defensive pre snap edits, Coverage audibles, and on Offense flip play side ect... I would like the input of those who have found something in the game not listed in the manual.

Defesive edits: Changing Assignments.

Highlight the player you want to change his assignment.
Press [] button for the "audible" banner to appear
Now change his assignment by using the Direction button.

Down = blitz
up = Zone coverage
Right = Flat
Left = QB spy

Thats all I can think of for now as far as D edits go. Their maybe more chime in.

Coverage Audible:

Highlight the player you want to change his assignment.
Press /\ button for the "coverage" banner to appear.
With the "coverage audible there is a team and player assignment change

Team assignments are:

Press /\ button and Right on the direction button makes the Defenders cover uncovered receivers.

Press /\ button and Left on the direction button makes the Defenders crowd the line of scrimmage but there assignments remain the same.

Individual assignments are:

Highlight the player you want to change.
Press /\ button for "Coverage" banner to appear.

To cover man to man, Press the corresponding icon of the WR i.e. to double team the the WR who has a [] over his head. Press [] and then Right on the Direction button.

Oh to flip the play on offense press the [] button(playmaker) and press the direction button in the opposite direction you were planning to go.

So chime in if you know more.

Do you know how to flip the play on defense after you've already picked a play?

Here's a few more:

Offense

To send a receiver on a "smart route" pattern (e.g., go past the first down marker): circle button, then the reciever's icon, then d-pad down

To keep the RB/FB/TE in to block during a pass play: triangle button, then the RB/FB/TE icon, then either shoulder button (for block left/right)

Defense

To call a Linebacker Audible (incorrect in the manual): Tap then hold L button, then hold R button, then d-pad

FORMATION SHIFT

Press the left right shoulder buttons simultaneously. The "formation shift" banner appears. Now select up or down on the direction button to shift the formation.

To cancel Slide protection or formation shift press the /\ button.

I can't get get this to work; no matter what I try, it just says slide protection. Are you sure about this?

UPDATE: never mind, it does work, but not in every formation I think. I was in a shotgun formation at first and it didn't work, but then switched to a weak-I and it did. Very cool, thanks!

that is wrong.

tapping L+R at the same time is what you do,
and it is correctly listed in the manual.

Well, I've tried it many times and it never works. Perhaps you have the magic touch. The method I described works every time, so it's not "wrong" it's just an alternate way of doing it.
