how many minutes quarters should I do...

I'm having a 8 person round robin tournament this weekend, were going to fantasy draft on thursday and basically play this tournament at noon saturday throughout the night.

How many minute quarters should I have so that the tournament runs smoothly and should I use accelerated clock or not.

if any of you do this do you use any house rules such as you have to run when your up by X amount of points.

if someone could give me a good format for a tournament that would be appreciated

If your playing SIM games I would suggest 6 minute quarters. No accelerated clock.

We use 6 minutes in the OS Madden League and games run at a good pace with a decent length.

As far as house rules, just play football. Don't allow anyone to do anything that a real NFL team wouldn't do on a Sunday.
