How am I defending Madden? My statement holds true for any video game.

I don't care what you say, Madden is the same game I have been playing for years with enhancements every couple of years or so. Problems that were around years ago are still around. I happen to enjoy the game despite its flaws, and that needs no defense. If you don't like, you don't have to play it.

Did you ever think that the people posting "don't buy it" comments aren't "diehard Maddenites" but are simply sick of hearing the same thing from "anti-EA" people every single year? Wah wah, I am forced to buy something I don't need to live and I absolutely can't stand it, but I can't seem to live without it. Maybe it's just you people are obsessed with complaining.

I could never understand why some Madden fans are so sensitive. If we don't like something about MLB, then we discuss it over on the MLB board and the guys at 989 usually try to do something about it. It's the same way as it was back when VC was making football games. With Madden, we've been complaining about Mario Running, Suction Blocking, Too Many Pancakes/piss poor OL-DL interaction, etc., for years. Believe me, I'm as tired complaining about these things as the next guy. I just wish EA would fix it.

I haven't purchased Madden in years, but I do enjoy NCAA...and still play it in fact. No anti-EA bias here. Point in fact however that if I do want to play an NFL game on 360 or PS3 next year, I DO have to buy Madden...we have no choice in the matter...so your entire point is moot.

Instead of blaming the complainers for complaining, why don't you blame EA for not listening to them? If EA simply listened to them and addressed the issues sometime over the last 15 years, you wouldn't still be listening to the same things.
