No offense to the topic creator..

But why is it that whenever somebody moves up to All-Madden level, and LOSE, they automatically think its the AI CHEAT??

Ive been playing All-Madden for this years and last years version. I have never experienced any AI cheat unless it was my fault to begin with. All it takes is smart decisions.

The game I originally posted about is the ONLY one I lost. I am 13-1 right now,but some games you just know it couldn't happen that way. For instance can you even name the 3rd string QB for Miami?

I hate it when guys bash a poster saying "your just aren't good". the guy is making a good point. the fact that a DE can outrun your team is proof enough. and the mysterious turnovers are a joke. however, i play on all pro because i don't want to play where a 74 rated CB can shut down my 95 rated WR. i want rating to matter. so on all pro with Playmakers sliders you can get a very good game.

This is a video game. in real life a team like the Bear are not going to "punish' you if you make a mistake. only good teams with higher rated players will make you pay. that is why i like all pro.

I played against brady. i was winning by 10 on the road and i played it too conservative. a lot of 3 and outs. i was up by 7 with 52 seconds and they scored with about 5 plays left on a bomb over my 95 rated CB. this was on all pro as well. the point is that i didn't mind that because it was brady. i do mind if it is some scrub tearing up my defense.

Just play on all-pro, adjusting the sliders to your liking.

Playmakers are a good set.

You can make it as difficult as All-Madden if you want.

If want to play All-Madden, use The Proffesionals or Playmakers(he has AM sliders as well)

The game only plays straight (i.e. w/unmodified player ratings) on all-pro. The thing to do to get realistic games is to find a set of sliders for that level that you like.
I can't really comment on Madden 2006 since I didn't buy it (only playing NCAA 2006) but I disagree with the general statement. I felt the same way up until 2005. I never played All-Madden until then for the same reasons you posted but I felt the All-Madden level on 2005 was by far the best experience. I found All-pro to be crappy for some reason and less of a sim experience regardless of the different sliders. Maybe it was just me but I didn't experience the cheating with my sliders and had a lot more fun at that level in 2005 than All-Pro.

Did you feel the same way about 2005 or every year?

Imo All-Madden in the 2005 version of the game was the same cpu cheat fest it had always been. Maybe you're just much better at Madden than I am?

I doubt I'm a much better player. I don't play online but would guess I'm above average to good but not a great player. I just liked the speed of Madden 2005 on All-Madden much better. I really didn't think the CPU cheated on me at that level because I always felt All-Madden was terrible in prior years. The only reason I gave it a good chance was that TCrouch said in his impressions that he liked All-Madden the best and that it was different from the past. Usually I think its a testosterone thing for the so-called Madden experts. The passing game was a good challenge. I did tweak the sliders heavily though - I always boost my pass protection. However I'm on AA on NCAA 2006 and have no intention of moving to heisman.
