sm27 was doing work to make the sim engine produce realistic nfl stats each season. When he discovered the sim engine was profoundly broken this year, he began a project to re-rate every player in the game accurately -- height, weight, measured 40 times, etc. all in an attempt to produce realistic gameplay across the board in madden.

The document was called the Manifesto.
