If you're just going to rent the next generation Madden then obviously you can't be a serious football fan. It's not like you have any other options so what would you do for your gaming football fix. I suppose you could continue to play the original 2006 while the rest of us we'll be moving on into the "NEXT GENERATION!"

You can rent if you don't know if you want the game. You can play current gen too, its not illegal.

Obviously, it's unreasonable for someone to want to rent a game, and try it out, before deciding if they want to purchase it or not.
