Maybe I can only speak for myself, but I'm kinda glad they simplyfied Madden 360...

Again, just my opinion of course. But some of the controls in the latest Maddens got kinda complicated for me. Multiple button combinations to switch coverages, forgetting what buttons to press, just too much to remember for me. I like the fact that when you audible, hot route, etc a menu pops up with what buttons do what. The playcalling and kicking game are much easier as well for me. Less thinking and frustration, really increasing my enjoyment of the game. I play as the Browns and I'm an average player at best. A lot of you probably think I'm nuts, but for me, it works.

Okay, so they dumbed down the advancement in controls. That's definitely a plus at times. However, that doesn't take away from features that are displayed without having to be controlled or whatever. Gang tackles... better pocket... momentum (physically speaking). Needs to be enhanced. Hopefully it will.

I don't disagree- I thought the control scheme for Madden was a clunky mess in the Xbox version this year. NCAA 06 hit on the perfect balance between giving you control options and keeping the interface very clean. The 360 version of the game isn't quite as elegant as NCAA, but it's getting there.
