Pump fake while scrambling (360)

I have noticed that whenever I scramble, when the qb gets near the line of scrimmage he will do an automatic pump fake. It looks cool but it slows down the qb especially when a defender is in hot pursuit and usually results in a sack. Has anyone else seen this, and how do it prevent that from happening?

I accidently pump faked all the time b4 i took madden back for PDZ. The problem is pump fake is mapped to pushing down the movement stick. 360 controllers seem to be very sensitive to pushing down the sticks.

I think it does it automatically when you scramble, kinda like when a qb does a fake pump to try and juke a defender in front of them except he does it with a defender on his back and gets sacked. It happens when he gets close to the line of scrimmage, I don't think I'm pressing down on the stick, I will have to play more and see.

Go to controller setting and chage pump fake to R stick and leave L stick open.

How do you tuck the ball down and scramble? I am always trying to avoid sacks while in the throwing position. How do I tuck it and run?

If you want to perform any special moves, spin, juke etc. you have to hold down the left trigger also.
