Need some serious opinions

I may be able to get my hands on a 360 tomorrow, but I'm really just a sports gamer, so the only games that I would be interested in are Madden, Live and 2k6. Madden would most likely be my first game purchase, so I'm just wondering is it worth it, or would I be better served by waiting for more games to come out next year?

Honestly, Madden is a letdown from a franchise standpoint. The stats are just not realistic (unless you played 40 years ago with a 12 game schedule). Graphically it is nice and the gameplay/animations are a step up. I'm kind of bummed about the Franchise because I don't get to play on-line much at all.

NBA2K6 is awesome. I was pleasantly surprised here. I am having a good time with the Association (Cavs fan). Solid gameplay, great graphics and it just feels right.

Haven't played Live yet though so no opinion on that one. It seems to be missing some features.

Just my thoughts. Rent Madden first. You may love it or may think it's just O.K. If you're a basketball fan, NBA2K6 doesn't even require renting it first IMO. Good luck to ya.

Thanks man, that's the kind of info that I'm looking for. If none of the games that I want are any good, then it wouldn't make sense to buy the system.

The stats problem was around on the XBOX version as well, not just the 360 version.
