Is Madden 360 worth a 360?

I generally only play sports games, mainly football. I was just wondering peoples opinion on this topic. This is actually a three part question
1) Is a XBOX 360 worth buying just to play Madden 360.
2) Since mainly all I am interested in is Madden, does the game at least show potential for next year?
3) Is there any depth to the 360 game that can hold me over til next years game or should I just wait for prices to go down and buy a 360 towards next years Madden release or wait for PS3

1 I would say no but its not as bad as Semper said it was
2 Yes it has the potential for next year
3 There is a franchise mode but it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the Xbox and PS2 versions have

Save your money unless you plan on using the Windows XP Media extender. Madden is OK, but not worth the console. Also, most of the other games out now suck and all the heavy hitters are delayed until the summer. I'd wait until June.

No, but it's worth getting a 360 for a game like Call of Duty 2. Incredible game.

Haven't played it, but I have heard some really good things about it. I think some people said NBA2K6 was also a good game, but another I haven't played.
